About Us

Our mission is to help people find their clear next step in their spiritual lives.

Meet the Binmin team.

Binmin is a non-profit team of creators that produces clear resources about the Christian life for anyone to access. We create videos, podcast episodes, written material, and courses that explore seven areas of the Christian life: spiritual disciplines, Bible knowledge, discipleship, soul care, apologetics, evangelism, and cultural engagement. We are committed to understanding how to live out the Christian faith and sharing it’s life-changing power to others.

We want to see every
Christian know what God
has next for them.

What We Believe

Who are you? Who is God? And how do I follow Jesus?
About Us - Gustav Dore - Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the Furnace

Why Binmin?

In ancient Israel, Jerusalem was destroyed, and three young men were taken captive to the city of Babylon. They were commanded to bow before an idol or be thrown alive into a fiery furnace. Their response?

“[O]ur God whom we serve is able to deliver us … But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up” (Daniel 3:16-18 ESV).

Those three words—“but if not”—mean a lot. The men at the furnace were declaring that, even if they were young, they lived for something, and they were willing to die for it as well. This story and this conviction are the basis for Binmin (“But If Not” Ministry): that men and women would find what’s worth living for and the next steps for making their spiritual life more important to them. We will all have a “but if not” moment: what matters is if we are ready to meet it.

Frequently Asked Questions

You can read our Statement of Beliefs for more information on what we believe as a ministry.

We know it. Binmin has an unusual name. It comes from the shortening “But If Not” Ministry, because we were inspired by the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and the fiery furnace (Daniel 3). These young men tell the king that God can save them, “but if not” they will still not bow to an idol.

This type of “but if not” faith is what we want to characterize our spiritual lives and those who interact with Binmin. Read about the meaning of our name on the About page.

Binmin is an independent non-profit and non-denominational parachurch ministry organization. We love building relationships and partnerships with churches and other ministries but aren’t affiliated with a particular denomination. Our resources reflect our Statement of Beliefs.

Binmin was founded by Pops, Bob, and Dave Martin to support men and women in finding their clear next steps in their spiritual life. But this ministry happens because of the supporters, followers, and viewers who are taking these resources and living them out to make their spiritual lives more important to them.
